The varied route runs across open lakes, along idyllic narrow straits and through fascinating locks on three canals and passes various country villages. The initial leg of the trip on the first day is from Kuopio to Juankoski, and on the second day the trip reaches Tahko, the leading holiday resort of the region.

Sporting fun with excellent services
A diverse network of local services is available for the rowers and paddlers along the route. You can also tailor the trip to your own personal requirements, by for example planning a family rowing weekend in the great outdoors followed by a relaxing break at the Tahko Spa.
