Departure of church-boats (long rowing-boats) at 9:00 from the beautiful Kuopio Harbour.
Before the departure, a sumptuous breakfast is served at the Wanha Satama Restaurant. Announcements during the departure procedures will be livened up by various interviews.
After the departure, the trip will head for the first intermediate stop of the day, the brand-new Lake Terminal located close to Kuopio Airport. |

Kayaks and small rowing-boats depart at 9:00 from the brand-new, distinctive Lake Terminal located next to Kuopio Airport. Some of the church-boats taking a shorter route also depart from there at around 12.30. You can reach the Lake Terminal conveniently by air to join the event, with everything arranged for you.
After a tasty breakfast and departure procedures the trip will head for Muuruvesi. Escorted by an experienced lead paddler and a safety boat, the trip will arrive in Juankoski by the evening. |

You’ll be welcomed in Muuruvesi by the hospitable representatives of the local village association. You can buy refreshments at the café, have a meal or just enjoy the music performances.
The trip continues to the Juankoski Canal via the Karjalankoski lock. |

| The first-day stage will be completed after the 18-km leg from Muuruvesi to Juankoski. Support crews will meet you at the harbour of the Hotel Ruukin Kievari, accompanied by the locals and live music. Before evening entertainment there will be time for a sauna, rest and meal. On Saturday morning, kayaks and small rowing-boats depart at 8:00 followed by church-boats at 10:00, and head for Tahko via the Lastukoski Canal. |

The first leg of the day is from Juankoski to the 100-year-old Lastukoski Canal, which is also a popular spot amongst sports anglers. The rest stop is located on the Lake Vuotjärvi side, approx. 150 m further on from the locks on the right. At the rest stop you can have a cup of coffee or a meal and go for a refreshing swim on its excellent beach.
After the break the trip will set off on the last leg toward Tahko. |

You’ve reached the end of a memorable trip and it’s time to reward your efforts. First of all, you can pamper yourself at the Tahko Spa and recover from the strain of the journey.
